“Horizon Worlds” will allow people to play and meet each other using VR

Meta is opening up access to its “Horizon Worlds” VR platform to anyone aged 18 and above in the US and Canada. It will allow those who have a VR headset to play, walk around and even organise events in the company’s digital universe.

Meta’s metaverse is taking shape slowly. “Horizon Worlds” is a huge multiplayer platform built on an environment that resemble “Minecraft”. According to the company, sociability and encounters are at the heart of this project. The game is accessible using Oculus quest 1 and 2.

“Horizon Worlds” is also a place where participants will be able to rewrite the code so that they can define physical rules themselves and create their own personal world.
