Gaming Chromebooks will be released this fall

Google has announced the release of three exclusive Chromebooks tailored for gaming. The devices will also include a secured access to several online platforms.

Chromebooks run on the Chrome OS operating system, providing its users with optimal access to the entire Google ecosystem. Originally, they were intended for students. However, new gaming models designed by Acer, Asus and Lenovo will be released this fall.

They will have high-resolution screens with a refresh rate of 120 frames per second and Wi-Fi 6 compatibility. These settings should allow players to play games like “League of Legends” and “Cyberpunk 2077”. Furthermore, Google promises access to over 1,500 games via different platforms including Xbox Cloud Gaming and Amazon Luna.
